De Futebol Liverpool blows a two goal lead! The Reds and West Brom tie two all!

Liverpool jumped out to a two nil only to have West Brom comeback to score two goals in the last eleven minutes to salvage a two all draw.

The tie cost Liverpool dearly instead of only a point behind second place Man U, 74 points, the Reds sit at 71 points three points outta second place with three matches left.

Man U has a match in hand.

Danny Ings started the Reds off on the right foot with a strike that found the back of the net in the fourth minute. Mohamed Sala let one rip in the 72nd minute for a two-nil lead.

The Baggies came storming back. Jake Livermore tickled the twines in the 79th minute to cut the gap to 2-1. Salomon Rondon broke Liverpool’s hearts in the 88th minute to level this puppy at two all.

EPL Match Report:” West Brom fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Liverpool at the Hawthorns thanks to goals from Jake Livermore and Salomon Rondon.

Liverpool took the lead on four minutes, Danny Ings scoring his first Premier League goal since 2015 with a close-range finish.

Mohamed Salah extended Liverpool’s lead on 72 minutes, latching on to an Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain through ball to lob Ben Foster.

It’s his 31st PL goal this season, which means he now shares the record for goals in a 38-match season.

But Livermore got a goal back for West Brom on 79 minutes, scrambling the ball home following a corner, before Rondon headed home a Chris Brunt free-kick at the near post to draw the hosts level 10 minutes later.

West Brom remain bottom on 25 points, eight points from safety with three matches left, while Liverpool are third with 71 points, three behind Manchester United.”

Watford and Crystal Palace tied nil-nil.

The Hornets stay put in twelfth placed with 38 points. The Eagles are fifteenth place with 35 points. Crystal Palace are still in danger of the heave-hoe.

EPL Match Report:” Crystal Palace moved a point further away from the relegation zone as they drew 0-0 with Watford at Vicarage Road.

The home side had the better of the first half, Stefano Okaka coming closest when his header hit the crossbar four minutes in.

Eagles goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey produced a good save as Joel Ward inadvertently diverted Troy Deeney’s cross towards his own goal.

Palace grew into the game in the second half and Luka Milivojevic’s free-kick strike the crossbar just after the hour mark.

James Tomkins then hit the post before the ball was scrambled clear by Troy Deeney.

Palace move up to 15th, six points ahead of the bottom three, after a third consecutive match unbeaten. Watford are in 12th, three points better off.”
