Crystal Palace fought back however and three goals in the space of nine minutes from James Tomkins, Zaha and Christian Benteke saw the visitors take a 4-3 lead with just minutes remaining.

Match report on the Reds win over the Black Cats. “Liverpool return to the top of the Premier League after a hard-fought victory over Sunderland at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s team dominated possession for long periods and missed the playmaking ability of Philippe Coutinho, who was carried off the pitch on a stretcher in the first half following following a tackle from Sunderland’s Didier Ndong.

It looked like Liverpool would have to settle for a point but finally broke the deadlock through Coutinho’s replacement, Divock Origi, who netted his first goal of the season with a well-taken effort.

The win was sealed in stoppage-time when Ndong conceded a penalty for a foul on Sadio Mane and James Milner coolly converted from the spot, sending Jordan Pickford the wrong way.”

      1. Not so sure if many of the US players head to Europe will be able acclimatize to the rigors of the game and way it’s played there. From a skill-set level the US players are simply lacking in the technical ability needed to strive .

      2. This is true. The only world class player the USA had was Tim Howard. Clint Dempsey was on the cusp but he quit before making the grade. Learn you craft. How by playing and learning from the best Europe

      3. Development of talent from the youth level upwards seems to have skidded backwards . US Soccer will also need to look at what is taking place at the grassroots’ level , <b all the way up to the Under-17 level within the national system of development. We know MLS itself , having made strides , it is still a long way off from where it needs to be , <b< to be even seen as being remarkably close to any of the top league sides in South America, let alone in Europe.

      4. The MLS is not even close in the lower divisions in South America. It is time to learn the game. It all starts with building a foundation. However our best Athletes play football or basketball and Baseball.

    1. I can’t. This makes as much sense as a screen door on a submarine. Look the Americans are not that good since Tim Howard quit. He was the one who kept us in most marches. Clint Dempsey took a walk from the EPL he has gone downhill. Dempsey was good. Why? due to playing in one of the top leagues in the world. The MLS is joke. A second rate league and this is an upgrade.

  1. Very good blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid
option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely
confused .. Any suggestions? Many thanks!

  2. Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this website.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness
and visual appearance. I must say you’ve
done a excellent job with this. In addition, the
blog loads super fast for me on Firefox. Outstanding Blog!

  3. I think that what you posted was very logical. However, what about this?
what if you were to create a awesome headline?
I am not suggesting your content is not solid., however what if you added something to possibly grab people’s attention?
I mean De Futebol – defutebolbobby is
a little plain. You might glance at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create article headlines
to get people interested. You might try adding a video or
a pic or two to get readers interested about what you’ve got to say.

Just my opinion, it could make your blog a little livelier.
